About the business

Hello everyone, my name is John and I run Northside Elapids - Snake Catcher. This venture is not only a professional endeavour, but also a passion-driven pursuit. I have successfully completed a nationally accredited Australian Snake Handling Course through Snakehandler, hold current First Aid certification, and possess full Public Liability Insurance, ensuring peace of mind for all parties involved. Safety, for both humans and wildlife, is always my top priority. With a long-standing passion for reptiles, I currently care for multiple species of Australian pythons and monitors. This hands-on experience, combined with professional training from local snake catchers such as Adelaide Hills Snake Catcher, enables me to confidently and safely relocate snakes that have entered areas they shouldn't be in. I offer fast, reliable call-outs, humane catch and relocation of snakes, and am licensed through DEW with full insurance coverage. If you encounter a snake on your property, please remain calm, keep an eye on the snake from a safe distance, and contact me directly – I will handle the situation from there.
